Information Sheet Development Opportunity
What: The CIS research team is offering interested researchers from participating child welfare agencies/offices in the CIS-2008 the opportunity to develop a CIS Information Sheet that will be available on the CECW website. The information sheet will be developed with the assistance of the CIS research team. Interested researchers can pose and answer a clinical question for which there are data from either the 1998 or 2003 incidence studies. Click here for examples of existing information sheets available on the CECW website.
Who: Interested staff from child welfare agencies/office will be asked to submit a research question. One information sheet will be selected per province and territory for development. These information sheets will be posted on an Agency/Office directed Information Sheet section for the CIS on the CECW website.
When: Submissions will accepted until March 31, 2009. Notification of selected information sheets will take place on May 1, 2009. It is anticipated that the series will be completed by September 2009.
